STRONG-UR develops a personalised approach to urethral tissue reconstruction using patient-specific geometry, living materials and controlled bioprinting.
The workflow connects patient data and digital modelling with layer-by-layer fabrication, maturation and quality control so the manufacturing route is designed around the intended clinical application from the beginning.
Adding application-specific motion to a modular platform.
AM Technologies by Brinter provides the modular printing platform and integrates an additional rotary axis for circumferential fabrication of the tubular construct.
The approach allows the geometry and deposition process to define the machine configuration while preserving the common control and platform foundation instead of rebuilding the complete system architecture.
Designing the manufacturing path for repeatability and validation.
Process control, construct geometry, material handling, viability and repeatability are treated as connected parts of the manufacturing route. The project also brings together clinical, biomaterial, bioprinting and regulatory expertise to support development toward a controlled regenerative-medicine solution.
